We met in the summer of 2002 while tubing down the Cowichan River on Vancouver Island (thanks Marisa & Sonnen)...I was smitten by Lee's charm even though panic stricken by the rushing water, and he didn't need much convincing to feel the same.
From then on we were a couple, braving the wild Pacific Ocean (thanks BC Ferries) on weekends to see each other either in Victoria or Vancouver. I eventually moved to Victoria, then we both moved to Vancouver to go to SFU.
After almost five years together, Lee proposed on a perfect, deserted beach in Maui (the picture above is us in Maui). I said yes. Now here we are!
